Crochet Dreamweaver Basket

Hey there and thanks for checking out the blog and the site! I wanted to post this pattern to say thank you for your support and your shared love of handmade items!

If you make this pattern, please tag me @knottyninjacrafts and use the hashtag #crochetdreamweaverbasket as I’d love to see your work! Please also follow me on Instagram and Facebook and subscribe to the website to be notified of new pattern releases and specials. XOXO Yarnies.

I made this pattern to make some 8.5” baskets for a cute little tiered metal shelf I found for our bathroom. It looked a little sad all alone, so hoped some crocheted baskets would do the trick.

I also wanted to make these look a little different than the traditional single crochet pattern. I tried to create a faux knit look and it actually gave the basket a little extra “sophistication” (sips tea with pinky up). The only difference here is working into the back bump of the stitch below. If this is a little confusing, just google “crochet into back bump” and there’s plenty of tutorials {thank you fellow craft wizards!}.
